Meet Your Counselor

Reaching out for counseling can feel overwhelming, especially when you have been carrying a lot on your own. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe being yourself and talking openly about what has been weighing on you. I believe everyone deserves a place where they can share their experiences without fear of judgment and feel truly heard and understood.

My counseling philosophy is rooted in a person-centered approach, meaning I view therapy as a collaborative process built on trust, empathy, and genuine connection. While person-centered counseling serves as the foundation of my work, I also integrate other therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I work alongside clients to build self-awareness, explore both present and past experiences with compassion, and develop a deeper understanding of thoughts and emotions. Together, we focus on strengthening resilience and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) and provide counseling services under the supervision of Anne Hardegree, LPC-Supervisor, in accordance with Texas licensure requirements.

Prior to becoming a counselor, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and spent over 10 years working in elementary education. This experience allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the academic, emotional, and developmental needs of children and families and continues to influence my compassionate and holistic approach to counseling.
